| Dubai, UAE, 23 November 2007 - International Tanker Management Ltd. [ITM] is pleased to announce that it is opening dedicated ship management centres in both Houston and Singapore. With fully operational management offices in place by early 2008, ITM can offer product, chemical and crude oil tanker owners in North America, the Far East and Southeast Asia greater physical presence and better service. "We're expanding our presence in Singapore and Houston to meet local demand and gain new business. We have already won a new customer in Southeast Asia, and expect to grow with increasing product and chemical tanker traffic there. America is also a great market for our services," said ITM President & CEO Lars Modin.
ITM's new man in Singapore, Rune Myrbakken, comes from Stolt-Nielsen. He begins officially for ITM in Singapore on 1 December. In Houston, Mark Patil will head up ITM's local operations, which are under registration with American authorities. ITM's American company should be formally established during 1st quarter 2008. Patil has significant experience working with Barber Ship Management in Houston.
